Butyl acetate (GOST 8981-78)
Butyl acetate GOST 8981-78 grade A is used for synthesis of chemical products and as a solvent in different industries.
Butyl acetate GOST 8981-78 grade B (first grade) is used as a solvent in different industries.

Safety measures: When working with butyl acetate it is necessary to use airtight vessels and equipment. The rooms in which butyl acetate is handled shall be equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation. When working with butyl acetate it is necessary to use individual protective equipment (gloves, goggles, industrial filtering gas mask type A).
Storage conditions: Butyl acetate shall be stored in storage rooms in the manufacturer’s packaging or in specially equipped metal tanks observing storage regulations for flammable substances.
Packing: Butyl acetate is shipped filled in tank wagons, tank trucks and 200 l steel drums.
Guaranteed storage life is 6 months after the manufacturing date.
